Okay, I've made tortillas before and I watched this video because I wanted to see how Mr. Snow rolled them out to be thin enough. That is my problem. I bought an inexpensive Tortilla Press so that they could be rolled out thinner and this did help somewhat, but I would like them to be like store bought thinness, and they aren't.

Any suggestions?

for flour tortillas I do not use a press, rather for the dough into small golf ball sized rounds, then roll them out with a rolling pin, this way you can achieve very thin tortillas.

Hi Keith. just a little comment about what you say in this video… Guerrero State is one of the southest one in Mexico… Border states would be Chihuahua, Sonora, Coahuila, Nuevo León, etc.
I am such a fan of your website.. loved your book. thank you so much for make this always interesting, and new…

ya..I meant chihuahua, I always mix the two up, if I am correct, Guerrero is where Oaxaca is located, home of great moles. (spelling?)
