Herb Compound Butter

Description: This is versatile stuff! Great for garlic bread, pasta, mashed potatoes, grilled meats and fish etc. be creative!

Ingredients:

1 lb salted butter
1 clove garlic minced
1tblsp pure olive oil
1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs, whatever you have in abundance (tarragon, parsley, basil, oregano, chives, rosemary-all work well)

Directions:

1. Bring butter to room temperature
2. In a large work bowl, mix butter with garlic, herbs and oil completely.
3. Take a large piece of waxed paper, put butter mix on it and form a log and roll up in paper, dont get paper rolled between butter, think of how a tootsie roll is packaged, do the same.
