Name: Classic Basil Pesto
Description: Easy basil pesto recipe. Simple to make, very versatile and great to eat! Try this one today!
Ingredients: 1 bunch fresh basil
1/2 cup Parmigiano Reggiano cheese (no green cans!!)
1/4 cup toasted pine nuts (pignoli nuts)
2 garlic cloves
kosher salt & black pepper to taste
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (spend your money..cheap oil will ruin this recipe!)
Directions: 1.- Add the first 5 ingredients to food processor.

2.-Slowly drizzle in olive oil.

SHAZZAM you got pesto!

Cooks Note: Use on pasta, in soup, on crisp bread, on grilled fish etc..
Please...do buy good oil, cheap supermarket olive oil will give terrible results. It's all about the oil.
