Elisabeth D'Alto, RD

Elisabeth D'Alto is a passionate Registered Dietitian and member of the American Dietetic Association, which is the nation's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. Elisabeth went on to complete her Dietetic Internship from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ where she was honored with the Outstanding Dietetic Student Award from the New Jersey Dietetic Association.

Elisabeth is also a Nutrition Freelancer and will be contributing monthly nutrition articles to the Harvest Eating website. Topics will be related to seasonal and organic foods. She delivers her messages with a fun and simple approach, providing digestible bites of nutrition information with each sentence you read.

Working in her family-owned restaurant and growing up with her father as an Italian Chef, Elisabeth has had years upon years of experience in both the culinary and nutrition fields. She will prove to be a great resource for Harvest Eating in delivering both culinary and nutrition tips and advice for our recipes, articles, and much more.
