Local food takes center stage at Farm Aid

It won't be business as usual inside Livestrong Sporting Park on Saturday, especially among the concessionaires. While the concert is happening, another feature Farm Aid will be going on at the food stands. The project is called Homegrown Concessions, and it's Farm Aid's way of introducing people to products from local and regional farmers and food producers.

"It's a big component of Farm Aid every year," said Jennifer Fahy, director of communications. "We go into a building, work with their existing concessions and their existing menus and help them source the ingredients of that menu from local family farms, local food companies, organic food companies.
